A law enforcement-only search for 21-year-old Logan Roy will take place in Beltrami County today, a Park Rapids man was arrested after hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene earlier this month, Highway 197 from Bemidji Ave. N to Highway 71 NW will be striped today, two from Pine River were arrested after a Cass County drug investigation Saturday, and a Waubun man was arrested after crashing an ATV drunk at a wedding.

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash south of Bemidji Saturday, construction on Birchmont Beach Road NE begins today, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline went live on Saturday using the new 988 number, users of Highway 2 in Cass Lake are asked to participate in a study, be aware of the symptoms of heat stroke today, and MnDOT reminds residents that private signs (political, garage sale, lost pet, etc.) are not permitted in public rights-of-way.

President Biden approved the major disaster declaration for Minnesota; the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners are set to hear an update on the Bemidji area’s child care shortage; the Bemidji City Council will review several items in their meeting Monday; two women from Red Lake were injured in a rollover crash on Highway 1 Thursday morning; and construction on Highway 1 east of Red Lake is set to begin July 25.
